Sponsorship for Developing Countries
|
For every UK HOME & SCHOOL member of SuperClubsPLUS or GoldStarCafe, Intuitive Media will sponsor a teacher or child in the developing world, like Opoku, left, and his friend from Ghana, or the boys from the Killimanjaro Village Project.
So IM learning community members can now invite their developing-world partner schools into the communities for free. If UK schools don’t have a developing-world partner school, Intuitive Media will help them find one.
UK schools can invite overseas partners to join special LinkUp Forums, where teachers and children can work together on joint international projects.

Free SchoolNet Global Collaborative projects
|
SchoolNet Global is also entirely free for developing-world schools. Uk schools can involve their overseas partners in a range of collaborative international projects that help build international relationships and develop cross-cultural understanding.
See the online magazines created by SchoolNet Global schools:
The Sustainability Project A place where teachers and children discuss, investigate and present their views on the most pressing issues facing our planet.
The My Culture Project Children from around the world are building a rich archive of first hand, personal accounts about different cultures, traditons, religion, music, art and history.
The My Country Project Children give their own perspectives on where they live. Discovering a country through the eyes of children provides a unique insight for children all over the world, helping to develop better international and intercultural understanding.
Message For The Future Project Children around the world share their hopes and dreams for the future.Children join in discussion that leads to the discovery of the issues closest to children's hearts across the globe.
Each project encourages participating children to research, discuss and report on their views, thoughts and feelings about the world in which we live.
