About Intuitive Media Research Services

Founded by educators with a passion for connecting teachers and children around the world and giving them a voice, Intuitive Media believes that through working together, children can develop intercultural understanding and empathy. We pursue our goals by providing protected places online, including SuperClubsPLUS and GoldStarCafe, where young people can meet, talk and work together without fear.

Safety First
With over one million child-years of experience in running online learning communities, IM is expert in child safety and has developed world-leading systems for moderating high volume communication between children and teachers.

Research
For ten years, IM has researched into children’s online behaviour and their needs for personal and social learning. The Intuitive Media Research Services Directorate conducts commissioned or sponsored research with over 130,000 authenticated UK children aged 6 - 14 years, and over 14,000 of their teachers in IM's communities.

Research services include:
  • Research Surveys - IM will create an online survey to help you find out what you need to know from children.

  • User Testing Zones - You can involve lots of children in hands-on user-testing your ideas and resources.

  • Learning Channels - You can engage, educate and influence a community of children, hungry to learn about your issues.
Many of IM’s research initiatives are commissioned by decision makers in government agencies, who really need to know what children think before they commit many £millions of public funds. This means that young people’s views are seriously considered and children can influence contemporary commercial, educational, social and economic policy making.
